GOM Meme

GOM Meme is an audiovisual content creation and editing tool that allows you to create the chroma key effect without having to have a green screen or extensive montage knowledge: all you need is your smartphone and the app.

In order to get the desired effect, you'll have two modes available: use the chroma key samples included by default in the app, or create your very own by recording, choosing the key color and getting rid of it from the recording. If you record with a uniform background color, you can get rid of the background and create incredible montages. If, however, you use several colors, you can get rid of elements from the image, creating incredible overlapping effects.

As soon as you have your chroma layer ready (background, face, money falling from the sky...), all you have to do is activate your smartphone's camera and start recording. The shot you took before the chroma will overlap the new recording creating a different and unique effect.

GOM Meme is a really interesting video montage tool that helps you simulate the chroma key effect in order to simulate different scenes. This tool opens an entire world of cinematic possibilities, even if you don't have an actual studio with a camera for this project.
